Tenfaye produces custom girth gears from φ1,000 mm to φ16,000 mm in diameter, covering most heavy industrial applications worldwide.

Our manufacturing capability includes metric modules from 12 to 50 and imperial standards such as DP1, DP1.25, and DP1.5. Using advanced CNC gear hobbing and grinding equipment, we achieve DIN 6–8 accuracy for ground gears and DIN 8–10 for hobbed gears in accordance with ISO 1328-1. Tooth surface roughness is controlled between Ra 1.6 μm and 3.2 μm to ensure smooth transmission and reduced wear.

Premium Materials and Reliable Heat Treatment

Tenfaye offers multiple alloy steel grades, including ZG35CrMo, ZG42CrMo, ZG45CrMo, ZG35CrNiMo, and ZG34Cr2Ni2Mo. Sulfur and phosphorus content is controlled below 0.025% to improve toughness and casting quality.

Each girth gear is processed through customized heat treatment, including annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering, or Q&T, achieving a hardness of 280–320 HB for excellent wear and fatigue resistance.

Strict Quality Inspection

Quality control begins with CAE casting simulation and continues throughout production.

Every girth gear undergoes 100% non-destructive testing, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT), in accordance with ISO, ASTM, DIN, and EN standards.

Complete material certificates, heat treatment records, dimensional inspection reports, and NDT reports are provided with every shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS or BV is also available.
